The Colorado Section of the ASCE is looking forward to an active 2007/2008 calendar year full of montly section meetings, volunteer opportunities, and other special events related to our profession. Please plan to attend the first meeting on September 20th, 2007 for more information on how you can get involved.
See the current section newsletter for a list of upcoming break session topics. Breakout session topics/presentations for each technical group are also sometimes posted on the technical group webpages.

Aging infrastructure is an important topic throughout the United States and also in Colorado. The recent tragedy in Minnesota at the 35-W Interstate Bridge shows how vital public infrastructure is to our communities. In 2003 the Colorado Section of ASCE released a report card on infrastructure in the state of Colorado, and gave bridges a C+ rating. For more information on the report card and bridges see the Colorado Report Card.
